Consumer Goods
Undoubtedly, the most popular area of focus in the movement toward sustainability is consumer goods. People spend billions of dollars on "green" products whose actual positive environmental impact may or may not be substantial. Greenwashing has led to severe manipulation and confusion for consumers worldwide. When you earn the Spectrum Consumer Goods badge, you not only become an expert on decrypting the industry's greenwashed codes, but learn the value of all aspects of sustainable consumerism, including selling, re-use, maintenance, long-term impact, and a product's place of origin.
